Under the terms of the Disability Discrimination Act 1995, all British web sites are required to be accessible to users with disabilities. I have tried to make this web site accessible to all users, but I know about these areas which currently do not meet the requirements of the Act:
- Not all tables have headers.
I will address these issues when I have time, and try to make the pages Bobby level 1 compliant, but meanwhile I would be enormously grateful if any disabled users (especially partially sighted or blind users) would tell me about any accessibility problems with the site, and any suggestions for improving it. Please contact me at
You can also find my phone number on the Contacts & links page.
The layout of all pages on this site except the Message board is:
- A main menu and a search box at the top of the page. The main menu has entries for Home, What's on, Theatres, Amateur groups, Workshops, Message Board, Map and Contacts & links.
- A central portion with the main text for the page.
The Message board page has a different layout, with menus to the right. If you have visual difficulties, you may find the Message board difficult to navigate, and I would suggest that you phone me and I can add an entry for you.
