Get ready for a collaboration like no other as InteraKt and Rachel Mary showcase their talents in this magical one-off performance.
InteraKt are a local charity offering drama, dance and art to all those within the disability community. By merging the creative and practical aspects of their sessions, InteraKt enables participants to enjoy and learn simultaneously, building knowledge, confidence and self-esteem through positive and engaging experiences.
Rachel Mary is a theatre director and community artist creating drama inspired by local communities. Drawing on empathy, Rachel’s work enables her to unite people through the genre of fictional drama.
Storytelling at its finest, this collaboration showcases unique perspective and experience – wrapped up in humour, this original play promises fun, laughter and a healthy dose of Mambo No 5.
Passionate about encouraging learning through creativity, both InteraKt and Rachel understand and advocate the physical, psychological and neurological benefits associated with learning through a creative medium.

Who are we?
We are a Community Interest Company. A company formed with the aim of returning all our resources and profits into developing a strong and powerful resource for the benefit of the Community. We run day and evening sessions in many different creative arts, as well as gaining skills on a technical and practical level. Most of our participants have a learning or physical disability. Some of our participants have hearing or visual challenges, some are older, some are younger and some are volunteers or mentors. In short we are a vibrant mixed group, we ensure everyone is included and everyone’s contribution is valued.
Interakt's activities include theatre related activities: performing, behind-the-scenes work and the technical side of production; music and drama; story telling, drama and dance.
