As our web sites server is down set out below are the simple guidelines for the auditions. I will try to put characters up as well
Audition guidelines for A Class Act
For all adult male or female parts, with solo song, auditionees must prepare a least one song to present to the audition panel. This is to be sung to a backing track, passed to the panel prior to the audition on either a CD or memory stick. This song needs to be a contemporary song of your choice (to be no longer than 4 minutes maximum).
For all child parts, children are required to select a piece from a chosen book of no more than 200 words and to be able to present this to the committee confidently.
For all adult parts, you will be required to read a monologue of your choice in the style of 1970s London/cockney.
Dancers: All dancers are required to prepare a contemporary piece lasting no more than 2 minutes. Again, please provide music either via CD or memory stick.
